Effective January 16, 2025, SWS will no longer be issued for multiple accounts.
Multiple Accounts Discovered Process
1. Determine the Category of the Case
When multiple accounts are discovered, classify the case into one of the following four categories:
- Banned Accounts
- Kount Declined
- IDV Required
- Suspicious Profile
2. Handling Banned Accounts
- Step 2.1:Check if any of the accounts are banned or have a Stick Warning (SWS).
- If YES:
- Ban all active accounts.
- Manually issue a Stick Warning (SWS) for the account(s) pending acknowledgment.
- If NO:
- No action is needed on the accounts.
- If YES:
3. Handling Kount Declined Cases
- Step 3.1: Investigate the associated accounts in Kount.
- Step 3.2:Check if any of the associated accounts are banned or Fraud Deleted (FD).
- If YES:
- Keep accounts banned.
- If NO:
- Reinstate accounts and approve them through Kount.
- If YES:
4. Handling IDV Required Cases
- Step 4.1:Check if the user has a verified IDV on any account.
- If YES:
- Reinstate the accounts.
- If NO:
- Manually issue a Stick Warning (SWS) for the account(s) pending acknowledgment.
- If YES:
5. Handling Suspicious Profiles
- Step 5.1: If the profile appears suspicious, escalate the case to the Team Lead (TL) for further review.
