3rd Party Sites & Apps

This page is meant to be used as a reference for known platforms that are often related to violating activity on our websites. It might not be an immediate violation to mention some of these platforms, but Agents should still be alert and investigate thoroughly. Please note that commonly-used websites/apps will constantly evolve and change over time therefore, it's impossible to keep a single list up-to-date with all trending platforms. We will do our best to adjust this reference tool as much as necessary. Contact Leadership if you think another platform should be added to the list (such as a new site you've noticed in multiple conversations).

Types of Websites vs Violations

Stick Warning/FD? Type Content Denial?

Why is this a red flag?

Below examples are suggested. Appropriate next steps will depend on context.

Fundraising

Scammer/Phishing

($ up front)

External Links

While not every online fundraiser is a scam, it's a huge risk and possibility. Additionally, our websites are not appropriate platforms for raising funds, no matter what the cause.

Online Money Transfers

Scammer/Phishing

($ up front)

External Links Commercial Activity

One of the most common scams involves asking someone for money without ever meeting them.

Commercial Activity

(payment for product or service)

This may also involve the exchange of a product or service (explicit photos, webcam sessions, etc.) in return for an online payment transfer.

Social Networking

External Links

It can be a safety issue for Users to share their social media information. But there is a bigger risk -Scammers sometimes create fake social media profiles to back up their false identities.

Content Creation/Sales

Commercial Activity

(compensation for product or service)

External Links Commercial Activity

Promoting products/services in exchange for compensation is not allowed on our platforms.

Chat/Communication

External Links

It's common for Violators (especially fraud, scamming or escorting) to move all contact offsite, using another means of communication. Many of these apps generate a fake phone number, as well.

"Camming"

Commercial Activity

(compensation for product or service)

Commercial Activity Webcam Model

Promoting products/services in exchange for compensation is not allowed on our platforms. Mentioning that one is a "cammer" (or cam model) without promoting services is fine in messages, but still not allowed in Profile text.

Please note that Escort site examples are listed in the "Escort Terms" page, separate from this one.

List of Platforms

Remember that the ultimate decision relies on context. The way each 3rd party platform is discussed/used will dictate whether the User has committed a violation, and what kind of violation it is.
