Users are now required to verify their email at sign up instead of creating a password. This process was implemented with the intention to:
Reduce fraud
Create an easier and smoother sign up flow
Better track duplicate accounts
In this flow, the user will follow these easy steps to sign up:
Sign In with Google:
Click Continue with Google.
Sign in or choose preferred Google account.
Sign In with Apple:
Click Continue with Apple.
Sign in to Apple account.
Sign In with Email:
Click Continue with Email.
Enter email address.
Complete the CAPTCHA.
Enter the one-time code sent to inbox.
Let the user know to allow a few minutes for the verification code to arrive. If it doesn't appear in inbox inbox, advise them to check their spam folder.
From here, the user will be sent a verification code to their email address. They must complete this step to complete signing up.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If a user is requesting a password reset moving forward
DO NOT: Send a Password reset Link
DO NOT: Generate a new temporary password for the user
DO: Educate the user on SSO options
DO: Help the user navigate SSO
If the user pushes back on SSO, or continues to have issues, please escalate to the Escalation Queue
